Hi there Tarot Friends, I was up early and saw the balsamic moon. By the time you read this, the solar eclipse on the south node in Libra will have happened. So much draining energy. You may have been feeling physically or emotionally drained. Or maybe spiritually drained. With Venus is Scorpio, this is a deep drain indeed. Halloween will be on the next balsamic moon. Now that's spooky! The balsamic moon is when the last sliver of light appears on the moon before it slips away into total darkness. This crescent moon appears just before sunrise, and some would argue at the peak of quiet. So instead of the illumination of the full moon, full of reverie, we have the incubation of the new moon on Halloween. Perhaps this month of October will be a time for deep, emotional concentration and release. At least it will be for me as this eclipse hits important parts of my chart. But the good news is that after the deep clearing and draining, there is a new birth. What seeds to do you want to plant in the dark emotional underworld of your life? And who do you want to bring with you? Planning October with TarotMy month card for September was the Tower. The biggest influence ended up being my mom having a major fall. You can read the notes on the rest. No, I'm not suicidal, but I've had a few things catch up with me and I have to admit I'm feeling a bit "at a loss" and quite prone to using quotation marks. Here's my month card for October. The Star is uplifting after the chaos of the Tower. Hoping for better things! If you want a bit more explanation on how to use the month card template watch this video. Month card TemplateHere's a month card template for you. Pull a card at random for the month of October. This is the simplest option. OR if you want to use numerology: Add your birth day + birth month + 2024 for your year calculation. For example: 18 +8 +2024 = 2050 add the digits straight across to reduce to a number between 1 and 21: 2+0+5+0 =7 This is your year card. Then add 10 to your year card and once again reduce to a number between 1 and 21 Now this is whacha do:
