Let's enchant 2025 with Tarot πŸ’₯

Hi there Tarot Friends,

The end of the year is fast approaching!

I wish I could say I feel like the lovely art deco lady in the photograph, serene and lounging with her animal familiars.

But alas, I'm feeling very uncertain and a bit lost on my path. November is a Moon month for me, so I guess it's to be expected.

I've been working with journaling and hypnosis in an attempt to clear the waters. I guess it just needs time.

Saturn is now direct after being retrograde for the past 4 and 1/2 months. It will be sitting at the same degree of 12 Pisces until early December so don't expect any quick turnarounds.

Saturn is that freight train that is barely crawling through the intersection, so slow that you'd easily be able to out run it. Not only is it barely moving through the intersection, but it's making these terrible squealing noises. Lord have mercy!

Saturn turning direct was the loud klunk! as it stops and the slow moving cars bump into each other. Now changing direction, ever so slowly...

Saturn does like to reward hard work, so if you've put the work in over the last 4 months, you might see some progress soon. I for one, sure hope so!

It's not too early to start looking ahead to 2025

Here are a few exercises or projects you can do to start 2025 off with a fresh Tarot start. If you'd like more detail on ANY of these activities, hit reply and let me know. I'm happy to go into more detail, hold a workshop, make a video or some worksheets.

Do a horoscope or year ahead reading for 2025

There are many approaches and variations to this reading but here is a simple approach.

  1. Shuffle and layout the cards as pictured
  2. Read the cards month by month starting with January as card one and ending with December as card 12.
  3. The center cards are the theme of the year and obstacles that you might encounter.
  4. Take note of any major arcana cards. These represent turning points in your year-long story. Lots of major arcana cards? This means lots of activity, twists and turns and lessons for the year ahead. Not so many, your year is more focused around themes pertaining to the card
  5. Count up the number of suit cards. How many wands? How many cups? etc. Is the year ahead spread out over all 4 suits, or do one or 2 predominate? Cups might emphasize relationships. Swords might emphasize problems to be solved or a lot of communication.
  6. Take note of the numbers present. Take into account both the major and minor arcana cards. You can include court cards in your count as well. 2 or 3 kings might indicate a year of mastery. Aces or pages a year of beginnings. Fives a year of changes.
  7. Should you read reversals? I don't. But it's up to you. If I were to read reversals I might read them as obstacles along with the obstacles card.
  8. Look over the reading and pick out the months you are looking forward to along with the ones you think look "not so good". Write down your thoughts in your journal.
  9. If you are familiar with astrology, you can use the house significations to interpret the cards. If you are not familiar with astrology, then don't overburden yourself by trying to add this extra layer.
  10. Write down a general interpretation of the year in your journal. It might be easier or more fun to make a little short story around it. Pretend you are writing it for someone else. At the end of the year come back and review the reading

Make a Tarot Vision Board

I'm sure you are familiar with the concept of a vision board.

A vision board is where you post all your future desires and intentions in one spot so you can keep them top of mind and work on them.

Add some Tarot cards to your vision board or make one just with Tarot card images to enchant your year ahead.

Tarot cards are perfect for vision boards because they are images.

Personally, I avoid text on my vision boards because it activates the left brain and narrows the focus. As they say, you want to leave your intentions open so they can be fulfilled in ways you never thought of.

Another plus to Tarot cards on your vision board is that they have the intention of many, many people for hundreds of years behind them. In a magical sense, the collective energy around Tarot cards give your manifestation efforts an extra push.

Pretty cool, huh?

I've got some more ideas but I think I'll leave it here for now.
