Past life connections, entanglements, and fate

Hi there Tarot Friends,

Have you ever heard a freight train grinding to a halt?

Oh the squealing!

Screeeeeeeeeeeeech! The sound seems to go on forever as the breaks grind on the train that is barely moving anyway.

Well, that's Mars this week as he grinds to a halt in Cancer at 17°.

I pulled a Tarot card asking what card corresponds to this Mars Station and I pulled the 5 of swords.

The 5 of swords for me is about winners and losers. And about picking your battles. So pick your battles this week!

You might feel triggered (a very Mars in Cancer situation) but try to pick your battles and know which ones are worth fighting!

We still have Jupiter at 11°Gemini, moving direct, so not all is lost. And the Sun is now in Pisces bringing some moisture to the dry, winter air.

Speaking of Pisces, I made a very Piscean video. It's dreamlike, aimed at helping you journey into the subconscious to learn about the Strength card.

Is there a past life connection here?

Are you wondering if this person is a past life connection, or fated, or some kinda soul mate?

Here's what to look for:

  • connections in the astrology chart
  • lots of major arcana
  • promises of paradise
  • longing and tricky business

Connections in the astrology chart

Don't worry if you don't know a lot of astrology. Just look for where planets overlap or occupy the same degrees.

Sun and ascendant occupying the same degree is very common in couples. They just "get each other".

Sun or moon conjunct the nodes is very hard to resist and could be considered a "fated" connection.

Lots of Major Arcana

If you do a spread for the couple, lots of Major Arcana cards signify this is an important relationship. It indicates there is something to be learned here. Whether or not the relationship will work out is questionable. The majors are telling you it's COMPELLING.

Promises of Paradise

10 of cups, 10 of pentacles, 2 of cups - these cards all promise paradise. All I'm saying is take these cards with a grain of salt. They may be reflecting how a person feels about the situation rather than the situation itself.

The Tricky Business of the 7's

7 of cups - can represent longing or a hall of mirrors that we pretend represents and ideal situation

7 of swords - tricky situations. It's complicated. Or he's lying.

7 of pentacles - the waiting is the hardest part. You may be waiting forever.

7 of wands - defending your position. But is it worth defending?

Will this go the way I want it to?

Here's a relationship spread you can use to suss out what's going on. It's pretty straight forward, so if you don't want to know the truth then don't use it.

you - the card of you at the moment

them - the card of them at the moment. if you do this spread at a different moment, they will have a different card.

between us - what's the summation of the energy or situation between you two?

need to know - what do you need to know, right here, right now in the moment?

will it change - is this a temporary blip or is this how things are? Keep your eye open!

advice - the best advice for the given moment.

Best of luck to you!
